Clare TD calls on neighbouring county council to get their trolleys in order
Fianna Fail TD Cathal Crowe has called on Limerick council to clean up the River Shannon
The Fianna Fail TD for county Clare has called on Limerick's council to "urgently arrange a clean-up" of the River Shannon.
Cathal Crowe posted a video on social media calling on Limerick City and County Council to clean up trolleys, road signs and other detrius stuck in the riverbed.
"I’m not a Limerick TD, I don’t live in Limerick but from where I live (in South Clare) Limerick is my nearest city and I’ve great affection for it," Deputy Crowe continued in a second post.
"I went to school & college in Limerick and it’s where my family often shop and socialise. I would live to see Shannon River cleaned up," he continued.
