Siobhán Elliot a pharmacist at Plunkett's Pharmacy in Croom won a grand total of €111,111.11 on Newstalk's Cash Machine.

Newstalk announced that no matter what there would be a winner of the Cash Machine this Friday.

A nervous Siobhán was the third caller the presenters rang and she answered right before the call would cut off.

"I'm just shocked really at the moment, I can't believe it," Siobhán said as she tried to compose herself.

"I wasn't expecting it. I had my phone on me but didn't think I'd get the call," she laughed.

Siobhán said she doesn't have any plans on what to do with the money as of yet.

"I must get home later and speak to my husband about it," Siobhán said.

"Sometimes, I enter the competition when it's on the radio at work but I never expected to win like this," she added.

There was a fierce buzz outside Plunkett's Pharmacy following Siobhán's win as those driving by were beeping their horns in celebration.

Locals were even entering the pharmacy to wish Siobhán well.
