Clare Museum presents exhibit by Ennis-based artist with Hungarian origins

‘Emotional Lenses to a Subconscious Mind’: an exhibition by the artist known as Nagy Anita is currently on display at the Clare Museum
Clare Arts Office in conjunction with Clare Museum is delighted to present ‘Emotional Lenses to a Subconscious Mind’, an exhibition by the artist known as Nagy Anita.
Nagy Anita is an Ennis-based artist with Hungarian origins. She creates intuitive acrylic paintings which help her to express her emotions. Surrealism and Expressionism are her favourite genres.
Her works are full of dreamlike and nightmarish visions. She invites the audience to practise imagination, to fantasise and to reflect. She also offers a portrait service by commission.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Social Sciences. She developed her artistic skills by enrolling in the drawing and painting school of Budapest and at London Art College. She has also studied Western, North American and Australian art history.
Her previous shows include group exhibitions: Art as a response to mental health in Doncaster, UK; the Secret Art Show in Dublin; and Mostra D’Arte Collettiva in Milan.
She was conferred with a Certificate of Artistic Achievement in Luxembourg and in Milan.
All are welcome to this free exhibition, which runs in the Clare Museum from April 2 to May 3, 2024, inclusive.
