The weather warning, which also applies to Limerick, Cork, Galway and Kerry, was issued by the national forecaster on Sunday morning and remains valid until midday this Monday.
"Heavy rain at times for all of Kerry and for western parts of Cork, Limerick, Clare and Galway," it states.
According to Met Éireann, potential impacts include "localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions".
All road users are being urged to exercise caution if travelling while the weather warning is in place.
