'Unbelievable stupidity' - Occupants of overloaded car fined for not wearing seatbelts
The driver was fined €120 and received three penalty points
A driver has received multiple fines for having a child in the back of the car with no seatbealt.
Sharing a post to X, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "The driver was fined €120 and received three penalty points. They received a subsequent fine for also having a child in the back without a seatbelt.
"The other two adult passengers have received a €120 fine each for being without a seatbelt.
"This car was stopped by Gardaí at a checkpoint in Glendalough , Co Wicklow this afternoon - the driver's four passengers including a child were all travelling without seatbelts."
