The puppies were 'freezing cold and very hungry'

A Tipperary woman found three puppies dumped in a box in her garden.

She brought them to Southview Veterinary Hospital, after which, they were brought to animal charity My Lovely Horse Rescue.

“A lovely lady found a box of 2 to 3-week-old puppies in her front garden. God love them, freezing cold and very hungry,” said the animal charity.

“She took them straight to Southview and we got there as soon as we could first thing this morning. Most likely tiny baby lurchers,” they said.

“Why why why can’t this country get it that we have a serious issue of a dog crise!  People don’t neuter, they throw dogs out, tie them up… Discard them like rubbish! Yet we still have puppy factories and back street breeders lining their pockets with money from humans that just don’t see the big picture,” said My Lovely Horse Rescue.

“We can’t continue without your help, we will never ever let animals down.”
