TikTok star hints Toy Show appearance

JAMES Doyle, best known as Protein Bor has hinted across his social media he may appear in this year's Toy Show.
The TikTok rose to social media fame over the pandemic mostly for his strong Westmeath accent but also his gym advice and fitness content.
It will be Patrick Kielty's first time hosting the annual Christmas-themed programme after he replaced Ryan Tubridy as host of the show in September.

The social media star has shared a video sitting in the famous Late Late Show chair and gave a flat white ‘to everyone in the audience’.
Many of his followers under the video took it that he is set to appear on the Toy Show saying; “I hope you're on the toy show, it'll be the best one yet.”
Speaking to the Westmeath Independent on how the name protein bor came about and his rise to fame James said; “The whole trend started with how I was saying ‘Protein Bor’. It started with people just taking the mick out of my accent. I don't mind, sure growing up in Ireland, you have to get used to the slagging. It's a given and I’m so used to it by now. So when everyone online started slagging me, I just kinda went along with it too and then all of a sudden it took off and ‘Protein Bor’ was everywhere.”
This year's Late Late Toy Show is on this Friday, November 24 at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
