The incident, believed to be triggered by the heavy rains and strong winds brought on by Storm Betty, resulted in a section of the Beenbawn coastal walkway being affected by the landslide. The picturesque pathway, which attracts hikers, nature enthusiasts, and tourists alike, has been temporarily closed off to the public.
