Search for missing teenager stood down as gardaí issue update

A missing person appeal for a 17-year-old boy has ended, gardaí have confirmed.
Shane Hafford, 17 years, who had been missing since the 29th of June 2024, has been located safe and well, a garda spokesperson confirmed.
An Garda Síochána said they would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
The youth was missing from Stradone, County Cavan since the evening of Saturday 29th June 2024.
He was last seen at approximately 7.30pm, sparking concern.
