RTE Prime Time Leaders' Debate sparks heated conversation on social media
The leaders debate, which was live on RTE's Prime Time last night, had political leaders Mary Lou McDonald, Simon Harris and Michael Martin discuss key issues before the next general election this Friday.
Following the leaders debate last night, conversation was sparked on the social media platform X.
One X user said, "Why even bother having a debate, if you are just going to rush it and stop people from talking when they are answering your question? Especially when it's a good answer. Massively bias. Ridiculous!!"
Another X user said, "I am switching off this shambles of an @RTEprime_time debate! 1) Badly managed 2) Sinn Fein bashing 3) HARRIS AND MARTIN not ACCOUNTABLE for the lies told 4) Not quizzing Ff or FG on lack of delivery, zero empathy, false statements, and dependence upon Apple Penalty!!!"
