REVEALED: National Lottery confirms store which sold €1m Lotto ticket

THE National Lottery has revealed the store which sold a winning €1m Lotto ticket ahead of Wednesday night's draw.
A player in the seaside town of Clifden, County Galway, has become the 20th National Lottery millionaire of the year to date.
The winner scooped the top prize of €1million in the midweek Lotto Plus 1 draw.
The National Lottery has confirmed that Kavanagh’s Supervalu, situated in the heart of the scenic coastal town, sold the top-prize winning.
Store Manager Joe Lynch said it was a big surprise when he got the call about the big win: “We are currently in the middle of our busiest time of the year with lots of seasonal holiday makers as well as locals shopping in-store with us on a daily basis. It’s always great to get good news but particularly so when it’s peak season.

The National Lottery is continuing to urge Galway Lotto players to check their tickets carefully from Wednesday night as Ireland’s newest millionaire is yet to make contact.
The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
