An incredible collection of luxury watches, expensive jewellery and gold seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) is set to go under the hammer later this month.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to bid on 30 luxury items, including Rolex watches worth tens of thousands of euro, as part of an upcoming online auction organised by Wilsons Auctions in Dublin.
The impressive collection includes 26 designer watches, with 25 Rolex models and a Cartier Santos Iced Out watch among the standout pieces.
One of the most eye-catching items is a Rolex Day-Date 40, with a comparable solid-gold model retailing for around €50,000.
Other luxury timepieces include a Rolex Submariner Date, a Rolex Datejust Turn-O-Graph and a selection of Rolex Lady-Datejust watches.
It's not just expensive watches going under the hammer, however, with an 18-carat gold pendant chain, white-gold bracelets and two one-gram Argor Heraeus gold bars also featuring in the collection.
The items have been seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act and are being sold on behalf of the Criminal Assets Bureau.
The online auction will begin at 1pm on Friday, November 27, with bidding remaining open until 1pm on Tuesday, December 1.
Anyone interested in placing a bid can browse the full catalogue on the Wilsons Auctions website, although buyers should be aware that additional fees apply to winning bids.
