National Lottery reveals stores where winning €1m Lotto tickets were sold

Jackpot in last Saturday's main draw to be shared by two players who will each take home €1 million
With Budget 2025 being revealed this Tuesday afternoon, two National Lottery players are celebrating a major windfall of their own.
The National Lottery has today revealed the two winning locations of Saturday's shared €2 Million Lotto jackpot - Maxol, Newline Road, Killeens, County Wexford and the Spar store at The Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght, Dublin.
A spokesperson confirmed that both winners have made contact with the National Lottery and that arrangements are being made for them to collect their life-changing prizes.
Tony Butler, Owner of the Maxol store in County Wexford, shared his excitement, noting it isn't the first time that the store has sold a winning ticket. "Would you believe it? This is our second big win in just under a year! Last October, we sold a Lotto Plus 1 winning ticket worth €1 million to one of our customers. People often say these things come in threes, so we're now waiting for the third! We're a really busy service station, so I'd be surprised if the winner isn't someone local. Whoever it is, we wish them the best of luck. It’s a great boost for Wexford Town."
Meanwhile, Farhan Vhatti, Manager of Spar at The Square Shopping Centre says he's thrilled that the store has sold its first major Lottery-winning ticket.
The Dublin and Wexford players are now the 8th and 9th Lotto jackpot winners of 2024.
