Man with serious injuries rushed to hospital after alleged stabbing

A MAN has been rushed to Cork University Hospital following a suspected stabbing in Cork.

Gardaí are currently at the scene of a criminal damage and assault incident that occurred outside a residential property in Annalee Grove, Mayfield this morning, at approximately 7.45am

According to a spokesperson for the gardai, one man aged in his 40s has been rushed from the scene to Cork University Hospital as he is suffering from serious injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
