Man in his 30s to appear in court for assaulting a woman at 9:30am in the morning

A man is to appear in court following an alleged serious assault on a woman in broad daylight.
The man in his 30s was arrested on March 14, after a woman had been taken to hospital following a serious assault in Tralee, Co Kerry.
At approximately 9.30am, emergency services alerted Gardaí of an alleged serious assault of a woman.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to University Hospital Kerry to be treated for her injuries.
Gardaí are investigating the serious assault and have charged the arrested man.
He is due to appear before a special sitting of Mallow District Court this Saturday, March 16, at 1pm.
Investigations are ongoing.
