Look familiar? 'Lovable' pup goes unclaimed after two nights in Dublin garda station

GARDAÍ in one Dublin station had a four-legged guest over the October bank holiday weekend.

A male terrier spent a number of nights in Malahide garda station as gardaí attempted to locate his owner.

"Does this lovable yoke look familiar?," Garda Info posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) on October 31.

"As much as we are enjoying having a new pal, we’d like to find his owner."

The dog was also not microchipped.

After two nights in the garda station, the terrier was handed over to Fingal County Council dog warden, and taken to Dublin County Dog Shelter.

"Microchipping is a legal requirement - no excuses!" gardaí stated in a second post.
