LATEST: Slurry tanks emptied on farm in search for missing Kerry man

An extensive search operation has been underway in Kerry for a number of days for missing farmer Michael Gaine
The extensive search operation for missing Kerry man Michael Gaine has resumed on Tuesday on the site of the 56-year-old's farm.
Michael, who also goes by Mike, was last seen in Centra in Kemare town on Thursday morning, 20 March. Gardaí recently released CCTV footage of Michael in the hopes of seeking information from the public on his whereabouts.
When he was last seen, Michael was wearing an orange woolly hat, a black fleece, blue jeans and black boots. He is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build, brown/grey gair and a bushy beard.
Gardaí said that they along with Michael's family are "extremely concerned for his well-being."
Hundreds of volunteers turned out to join the search for Michael over the weekend alongside gardaí, the Coast Guard, Civil Defence and Kerry Mountain Rescue around the MacGillycuddy's Reeks area.
On Monday, the search operation was scaled back considerably and gardaí did not request volunteer assistance. The search is now predominantly focused on Michael's farm.
Slurry tanks have been emptied on the farmyard and excavation works have also been carried out.
Gardaí are seeking anyone with camera footage, including dash-cam or CCTV, from Thursday, 20 March and Friday, 21 March in the Kenmare town and Moll’s Gap area to provide that imagery to the Garda investigation team.
Anyone with information on Michael's whereabouts is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064 667 1160, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station
