'It's not fair on New Year's Eve' - You won't believe why this unaccompanied driver was stopped by gardaí....
The driver had yet to complete any of the mandatory lessons
Gardaí stopped an unaccompanied learner driver who blocked a bike lane but that is not the only reason.
Sharing the post to X, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Reserve Gardaí on patrol in Dublin spotted a car parked on double yellow lines and blocking a bike lane on Dame Street.
"The driver was an unaccompanied learner who had yet to complete any of the mandatory lessons.
"His only defence? 'It's not fair on New Year's Eve'..."
