Three people struck gold last night following the Lotto draw, which saw winners in Dublin and Wexford.

The National Lottery have confirmed that the Lotto Jackpot of €2 million was won and split between two players from Dublin and Wexford, each claiming €1 million.

The store locations where the winning tickets were bought will be announced on Tuesday 1 October.

The good news didn't end there, as lucky players in Kildare and Laois also won big on the night. A player from Kildare won €82,584 after matching 5 numbers and the bonus in last night's main Lotto draw. The player bought their winning ticket in Spar, Newtown, Maynooth, Kildare.

Finally, a player from Laois won €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2. They purchased their winning ticket at SuperValu, The Ossory, Rathdowney, Laois.

Players in Dublin, Wexford, Laois and Kildare are urged to check their tickets carefully and get in touch with the National Lottery regarding their winnings.
