Jay Slater was last seen in Tenerife
There are growing concerns after the friend of missing teen Jay Slater revealed their last conversation.
A massive search is on under way for British teen Jay Slater, who is missing after leaving a rave in Tenerife on Sunday night with two new friends he met that night.
In a last frantic phone call to his friend Lucy Law on Monday morning, Jay said that he had “cut his leg” on a cactus ad had “no idea of where he was”.
There have been growing concerns for the teen, who is originally from Oswaldtwistle, in Lancashire.
In an appeal to the public, his mother, Debbie Duncan told the MailOnline: ““I just don’t know what to think, I’m all over the place and I’m trying to keep positive, has somebody taken him? Is he panicked and lost in the mountains? I just don’t know, that’s why if anyone has any information please just tell us.
“But if he is lost then why hasn’t anyone seen him? It’s busy with hikers and holidaymakers up there so if he was lost then someone would have seen him, so that’s why I think maybe he’s been bundled off somewhere.”
A Facebook group set up by the teen’s friends have been attracting hundreds of followers. In the posts, speculation is rife as social media users are wondering what happened to Jay Slater.
