Gardaí seize van using sneaky trick to evade tax for nearly four years
The driver of the van was also found by gardaí to not be wearing a seatbelt
Gardaí have seized a van after finding it untaxed for almost four years while using a sneaky way of evading penalties.
Dublin gardaí were on patrol near City West when they saw the driver of this van (pictured) not wearing a seatbelt.
They were stopped and it was found that the it was untaxed for 1393 days and it was using the tax disc of another vehicle.
The van was seized.
A spokesperson for gardaí said: "Proceeding are to follow."
