Gardai launch investigation following discovery of woman’s body

Gardai have launched an investigation into the discovery of a body of a woman aged in her 30s in Co Roscommon.

The woman was discovered unresponsive at a private residence in Kilglass shortly before 9am on Saturday morning.

Gardai are currently investigating all circumstances and a post-mortem examination will be conducted on Sunday, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.

The scene at Kilglass is currently preserved for a technical examination.
