Former Miss Universe Ireland and Tipperary hurling star set to welcome first baby

FORMER Miss Universe Ireland Aoife Hannon and Tipperary hurling star Brendan Maher are set to welcome their first baby in March.

The pair took to Instagram to share the news in a joint post holding a sonogram saying; “We have a little baby due in March and we couldn’t be happier.”

The couple got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot in May 2022 at Dromquinna Manor, located in Kerry, and recently celebrated their first year of marriage together.

Aoife, a qualified physiotherapist founded her own business the Pilates Programme during the pandemic and runs online workshops.

Brendan is a Tipperary hurler who has won three All-Ireland Hurling Championships.

The pair have received many congratulations under the post including models Rozanna Purcell and Shauna Lindsay.
