A motorist travelling through Kildare was issued with penalty points and fined for driving on a 'dangerously defective' tire.
Gardaí on patrol near the Curragh, Co. Kildare were checking out cars when they came across a "dangerously defective front tyre on quite a high-powered car."
"It's an offence to drive with a defective or worn tyre, and carries an €80 fine and 2 penalty points," An Garda Síochána stated in an online post sharing the story.
