Father raises funds for charity in memory of little Waterford boy

Matthew Healy would have turned 7 this month
The father of Matthew Healy, who died after being found in a car in Waterford, is raising funds for a charity in memory of his son.
James Healy is organising a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Ireland, ahead of what would have been his son's seventh birthday.
Matthew Healy died on February 9. He would have celebrated his seventh birthday on May 17.
In his memory, his dad is organising a gathering to raise funds for the charity, which aims to grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17, living with life-threatening medical conditions.
"To celebrate his birthday and in his memory, a motorcycle and vintage car gathering/run will be held in Watergrasshill (T56 DE24) on May 19 from 1pm, run commencing at 2pm with music and food trucks afterwards from 3-6pm. All proceeds and donations will go to Make A Wish, a charity which reflects Matthew’s fun and adventurous character. Your support is greatly appreciated on this, thank you," said James Healy on his fundraiser page.
