Dublin photographer suffers 'multiple fractures' after being hit by a bus

A FUNDRAISER has been organised for a Dublin photographer who suffered serious injuries after being hit by a bus.
Killian Whyte was hit by a bus as he was cycling to work last Friday.
His friends have now organised a fundraiser to help him get back on his feet after being hit by a bus while on his bike.
“He was completely run over, and we are blessed that he is alive and well and able to speak. He has multiple fractures in his face, neck, shoulder, hip and legs, as well as a broken foot and has a long road of recovery ahead of him,” commented his friends on a GoFundMe page.
A “favoured and legendary” photographer in the Dublin hospitality and nightlife scene, Killian was on his way to work with all his equipment when the accident occurred.
“Since he will be unable to work, he is under threat of losing his home due to not being able to pay rent while he is recovering,” said his friends.
“We are hoping to raise enough money to help with medical bills during his long stay in hospital, to be able to replace his equipment so he can get back to work once recovered, and to cover his rent until needed.”
