Gardai said a Cork teenager has died after he reportedly fell from a vehicle almost two weeks ago.

Conor Coleman, a man aged in his late teens, died on April 17 just before midnight at Little Island in Cork.

In the gardai’s initial appeal for witnesses, they said he was a pedestrian who was struck by a car at Little Island.

On Monday, gardai issued an update to say he “fell from a moving vehicle”.

He was taken from the scene to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Gardai have appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

“Road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam footage and were travelling in the area between 11pm and midnight on Friday 17th April 2026, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardai,” a spokesman said.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Mayfield Garda Station on 021 4558510, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
