'Appalling' - Driver under the influence stopped at checkpoint for litany of offences

The driver in question also had no insurance, tax or NCT, according to Gardaí.
A driver in Drogheda was caught driving under the influence over the Bank Holiday weekend and failed to present a driver's licence after being stopped by Gardaí.
Gardaí said in a post on X that "this is the kind of appalling behaviour we see everyday".
The driver also failed to produce car insurance, NCT or car tax. They were stopped as part of the recent Garda #SaferRoads campaign.
