ALERT: Major fault prompts recall of over 20,000 vacuums sold in Irish stores

Over 20,000 vacuum cleaners have been recalled from dozens of Irish stores due to a major safety issue. 

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), a safety issue was identified with the BS DC Adaptor of Beldray and Salter Cordless vacuums. 

The product descriptions are BELDRAY REVO CORDLESS, BELDRAY REVO PET PLUS, BELDRAY REVO DIGITAL and SALTER HANDY PRO HAND VAC. 

All batches and colours are affected. 

The defect affects all UK and Ireland adaptors supplied since January 2020 (BS, 3-Pin, DC Adaptor Model Number TYBSDC1400500). 

There are approximately 20,072 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
